How to use CVC RUS? (for regular utau)

  • Download LyricsInputHelper by Heiden.BZR. Unzip and place it in your UTAU plugin folder.
  • Open your midi through UTAU and place phonemes in CV format (notice that you also need to place C phonems separatly)
  • Select part of ust that you want to convert. Go to menu above, click Tools>Plug-Ins>LyricsInputHelper
  • When the menu of plugin opened, press "Convert" on the right. When the transitions are added, click "OK".
  • Optimize ust if needed (Replace some VC phonemes with VC-, C with -C and etc. Depends on your preference). The picture shows ust after conversion by plugin.
How to use CVC RUS? (for OpenUTAU)
  • Open program, import midi file and select needed voicebank.
  • Click "DEFAULT" button next to the voicebank icon. Go to More>RU>[RU CVC] Russian CVC Phonemizer by Heiden.BZR
  • Go to piano roll. Write in needed word on the note in Cyrillic. To extend a syllable to another note, write a “+” on the next one.
  • If you notice the pronunciation is wrong, open square brackets "[]" and write it as for regular utau (exemple: [p r' i v' e t]). Notice that every letter writes separatly.
How to use appends for Emerald (v.3.6.0)?
  • To activate Soft, type "_S" suffix after needed syllable (example: [-ra_S][ar_S][ra_S])
  • To activate Childish, type "_CH" suffix after needed syllable
  • To activate Dark, type "_D" suffix after needed syllable
  • If you use OpenUTAU: go to pianotoll > find menu on the left below > click "CLR" parameter (if there none, click on the one of the "v" buttons and choose "voice color") > change dots below to the needed voice.
